February 28, 2010 Lookout Trail-Rowher Flats

We will be running the Rowher Flats area and maintaining our Adopt-a-Trail. We will meet at 9AM at the entrance to the Rowher Flats offroad area off of Sierra Highway. Bring gloves, garbage bags, drinks and lunch. Hopefully all this rain has chewed it up a bit and the trail will be challenging.

We will be leading the Friday morning run. The run leaves Loon Lake at 6:30 AM and goes straight through to Rubicon Springs, hopefully arriving at camp for dinner and Maruader Bar. This will be a great opportunity to experience the world famous Rubicon Trail without having to commit a whole bunch of time, yet still see the trail early in the year when it is at its toughest. I would recommend having 35" tires, at least one locker, and lower gears. Some body damage is always expected. The Ferryman always gets paid. Email me for more info. Click for More Info.
