Land Usage
This is a new section that is meant to provide a place for members who wish to get information, people to contact, or anything else having to do with Land Use issues.
The last election, finally concluded, with a victory for lovers of the great outdoors; at least for those of us who actually take advantage, and enjoy our public lands. It has always baffled me that those with the loudest mouths about closing this area or that, never have been there or know anything of what they speak about. All they spew is regurgitated Sierra Club propaganda. Anyway, in this vain, I am providing two letters in MS Word format addressed to new President, George W. Bush and secretary of Agriculture, Ann Veneman. Please download these and either e-mail or snail-mail them to their respective recipients. Feel free to read through them and customize them to your own situation. If you choose the e-mail method, it is easy to cut and paste the text into your e-mail client.
